Job summary

The Trust is looking to recruit a Digital Business Relationship Manager to join an established team working across the organisation to translate business/ operational requirements into Digital solutions.

This role drives the interface between our operational business and the Digital team. You will be the key link between IT services and identify future requirements to support the operational business. You will act as the customer advocate.

Main duties of the job

Work with an assigned list of departments and stakeholders to capture and update the Trusts Digital Demand Tracker. Support the development of investment business cases. Measure/ quantify return on investments and benefit realisation.

About us

The Trust is mid way through a 5 year Digital Transformation which includes implementation of a new electronic patient record system, IP based telephony system, new emergency control room systems and data lake.

The BRM works with senior level management Band 8, 9 and VSM level to develop a technology strategy that is integrated with IM&T and across all Directorates.The BRM proactively serves as a trusted advisor - even a partner - and is a primary IT point of contact for executives and management. They operate as a key business contact representing IT in promoting Digital services and capabilities

  • ITIlv4 qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Masters Degree in IT or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years experience in an equivalent BRM role.
  • 2 years experience delivering IT projects.

Desirable

  • 3 years experience as a line manager of IT teams in the NHS.
  • Proven exposure in relation to leading and delivering complex IT/ business change and strategy - specifically in relation to digital development programmes, in a politically sensitive and complex environment.
  • 2 years experience in an emergency care setting.
