Job summary
The Efficiency Value and Improvement (EVI) Programme supports the NSFT strategic priority of "Improving Value" by driving year-on-year improvements, streamlining processes, and promoting continuous improvement.We are seeking an organised and motivated EVI Programme Coordinator to support the delivery of a large-scale NHS change programme. This role is vital in enabling improvements that enhance patient care and staff experience.As Programme Coordinator, you will provide comprehensive administrative and logistical support across multiple workstreams, maintaining accurate documentation, schedules, and reporting dashboards in line with NHS governance standards. You will help track risks and issues, ensure compliance, prepare reports for senior stakeholders, and support financial tracking and resource planning. You will also facilitate effective communication between programme leaders, clinical teams, and other stakeholders, and assist with change management activities including staff engagement, training coordination, and communication plans.
We are looking for someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Experience in healthcare is desirable. Proficiency in MS Office and NHS collaboration tools, such as MS Teams, is essential. You should be confident managing competing priorities in a complex environment, with a clear understanding of NHS values and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.
Main duties of the job
- To use project management methodologies, tools and techniques to support delivery of projects and the EVI programme.
- To aid the end-to-end management of EVI project lifecycles, working closely with the operational teams across Localities and Corporate Services.
- To facilitate the governance of EVI plans ensuring that NSFT and EVI Programme governance processes are adhered to.
- To help clinical and corporate teams to complete project documentation
- To support all projects to undergo a Quality Impact Assessment (QIA) across the Trust and all follow up requirements once a project is in delivery.
- To help complete reports for the Locality and Corporate performance meetings.
- Work with members of the Clinical Teams to investigate the causes of any variance from project plan and proactively contribute to the implementation of solutions.
- Management of a risk and issues tracking mechanism and the resolution and escalation processes.
- To work closely with Senior Responsible Officers (SROs) to ensure delivery of the projects in a timely manner and ensure delivery of benefits.
- Actively seek out opportunities to improve your own skills and knowledge and use these in a way that helps the Trust to meet its objectives.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues.
- To support the EVI Programme Manager with coordination and effective execution of the EVI Programme.
