Job summary
We are seeking a skilled, motivated and compassionate Clinical Team Leader to provide leadership within the Community Rehabilitation Team. This is a key role supporting individuals with complex mental health needs to progress in their recovery and achieve greater independence within the community. The post holder will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care while supporting the ongoing development of the service.
As Clinical Team Leader, you will lead by example, promoting collaborative and person-centred practice in line with the Recovery Model. You will provide clinical and operational leadership to a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring safe, effective and timely interventions, with a strong focus on risk management, rehabilitation and positive outcomes. Building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal teams and external partner agencies will be central to the role.
You will be a suitably qualified and registered Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist, with demonstrable experience of working in mental health services. Significant experience within community settings and multi-disciplinary teams is essential, alongside proven leadership capability. You will have strong communication, analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to support service development, manage complexity and inspire staff to deliver high standards of care during an exciting period of service evolution.
Main duties of the job
As the Clinical Team Leader role, you will be responsible for the operational management of a range of aspects of service delivery within the team and for clinical / managerial supervision of professional staff.
To ensure a responsive, high quality service is provided to clients, their families and carers within the clinical environment.
Maintain compliance with key performance indicators. Develop any Quality Improvement initiatives that could improve outcomes.
