Are you an experienced RMN passionate about supporting children and young people in mental health crisis? We are recruiting Band 6 Mental Health Nurses to join our Crisis Assessment and Intensive Support Team (CAIST) within the Suffolk Crisis Service.
This is a dynamic and highly rewarding role where your clinical judgement, compassion, and leadership will make an immediate difference to young people and their families during periods of acute distress.
We are hosting a dedicated recruitment open day on 25th February for shortlisted candidates.
Candidates successful at shortlisting will be invited to attend a morning or afternoon session on 25th February. Each session includes:

Main duties of the job
You will work in a fast-paced crisis service delivering urgent mental health assessment and intensive support to children and young people. You will manage a caseload, complete risk and needs assessments, and coordinate care alongside a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency network.
Key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking crisis assessments and delivering care plans
- Ensuring safe referral pathways and continuity of care
- Working closely with CAMHS, social care, education, and partner agencies
- Providing supervision and support to junior staff and students
- Maintaining accurate documentation and mental health clustering
- Contributing to service development and quality improvement
