Job summary
The post holder will utilise specialist computer-aided design (CAD) software to update, maintain, and manage the Trust's current and historical drawing records library. This will include the production of accurate and detailed 2D and 3D drawings and designs, developed from information provided by a range of internal and external stakeholders.
The post holder will be responsible for reviewing and assessing the existing Trust drawing records library, identifying opportunities for improvement in line with industry best practice, and implementing enhancements to ensure the system is efficient, sustainable, user-friendly, and fit for purpose.
Effective communication skills are essential, as the post holder will work closely with multiple departments across the Trust, producing plans and drawings to support a wide range of Estates and Facilities functions. These will include, but are not limited to, fire safety compliance, ligature risk assessments, planning applications, water hygiene compliance, and asbestos management.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for a broad range of estates and digital information management activities, including but not limited to the following:

Maintain, update, and manage accurate Estates records and drawing information.

Prepare and update statutory compliance drawings in line with regulatory requirements.

Maintain and update CAD Facilities Management (FM) drawings, including those relating to Fire Safety, Water Hygiene, and Asbestos.

Undertake site surveys across Trust premises to ensure estates records remain accurate and up to date.

Lead the integration of CAD data with Building Information Modelling (BIM) and other digital estates platforms, supporting the Trust's digital transformation agenda.

Support the development and implementation of space utilisation strategies that contribute to sustainability objectives and the Trust's Net Zero commitments.

Ensure all estates records, drawings, and digital data are managed in compliance with GDPR and Trust data protection policies
