As the Practice Education Lead, you will be a key player in the Trust's Education and Professional Development department and report directly to the Associate Director of Education & Professional Development. We are looking for an inspiring professional with significant health service experience. If you possess excellent leadership skills, a passion for developing the clinical workforce, and clear focus for keeping service users and carers at the core of what we do, this is the role for you!
Main duties of the job
- Leadership - Provide crucial operational oversight and line management to the entire Practice Education Team and Placement Administration Team. Contributing to strategic leadership as part of the wider Senior Leadership Team of the department
- Multi-Disciplinary Reach -Oversee practice education for Nursing, Allied Health Professionals, and Social Work learners, ensuring our educational models align with organisational values and professional standards.
- Innovation & Growth -Work in close partnership across the Trust to grow placement capacity, optimise learner experience, and promote a culture of innovation and enterprise within the Placement Administration Team
- Influence -Represent the Trust in external forums, maintain excellent relationships with key educational partners, and support the Associate Director of Education & Professional Development with long-term strategic planning
