Job summary
West Norfolk Community Mental Health Team at Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) is seeking a motivated and compassionate Nursing Associate to support the delivery of high-quality mental health care to adults in the community.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Nursing Associate will contribute to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for individuals experiencing mental health difficulties. The post holder will work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Mental Health Nurse, supporting service users to maintain their mental health, independence, and wellbeing in a community setting.
The role involves direct clinical contact with service users, including monitoring mental state, supporting care plans, delivering agreed interventions, promoting physical health, and liaising with carers and partner agencies. The Nursing Associate will also support risk management, documentation, and care coordination activities in line with Trust policies and professional standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Nursing Associate who is passionate about community mental health, recovery-focused care, and collaborative working, and who wishes to develop their skills within a supportive and forward-thinking CMHT.
