NSFT is seeking an influential Senior Inclusion and Staff Experience Manager to lead our strategic agenda for equality, inclusion, and staff experience. What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Equalities, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Significant experience in a senior inclusion/equality role or staff experience/OD/engagement role within a complex organisation.
- Deep understanding of statutory requirements and best practice in inclusion and diversity.
- Proven ability to influence at Board, system, and national level, and to lead high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical, consultancy, and coaching skills, with the ability to translate insight into effective strategies.
- Commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
Main duties of the job
About the Role
As our Senior Inclusion and Staff Experience Manager, you will:
- Provide strategic leadership for inclusion, equity, and staff experience across NSFT, ensuring alignment with our People and Culture Strategy, the NHS People Promise, and national priorities.
- Lead the development and delivery of transformational programmes that improve staff engagement, belonging, and psychological safety, with a focus on underserved and marginalised groups.
- Oversee statutory compliance (WRES, WDES, EDS2, Gender Pay Gap) and ensure these are embedded in our wider strategic planning.
- Translate staff voice and feedback into meaningful improvements in workplace culture, wellbeing, and organisational performance.
- Act as a technical expert and adviser to the Executive Team and Trust Board, ensuring workforce equity and staff experience are central to our strategy.
- Build strong relationships across the ICS and contribute to regional and national priorities, representing NSFT at key forums.
