Job summary

We are looking for two enthusiastic and motivated Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner's on either a Fixed Term or Secondment to join our busy and high-volume service in Norfolk and Waveney.

We have two secondment vacancies available, 1 under a full time contract (37.5 hours) until April 2026, with your contractual base at North Walsham hub and another under a part time contract (30 hours) until October 2026, with your contractual base at Heacham, Kings Lynn. The part time (30 hours) Senior PWP post can be supplemented with 1 day of PWP clinical work should someone who works full-time wish to pursue this opportunity.

You'll work in a large Senior PWP team supporting PWPs providing a range of NICE-approved psychosocial interventions for people aged 16 and upwards.

You'll need to be passionate about providing an excellent client experience, committed to high standards of care and making a difference to service users.

This post is an excellent opportunity for an existing Senior PWP or a qualified PWP looking to develop.

Main duties of the job

The role predominantly involves providing regular case management supervision, and the provision of clinical skills training (group) as required, to qualified and trainee PWPs, in order to ensure the quality of the service at Step 2 is maintained, and that our PWPs are enabled to develop their clinical skills. The post holder will assist the leadership team in the development of the Low Intensity part of the service, under the direction of our Lead PWP, whilst helping the service achieve its required key performance indicators. The role will also include holding a small caseload of clients, delivering clinical interventions for up to one day per week.

The post-holder will be able to demonstrate experience of providing high volume, evidence-based practice in guided self-help using telephone and other methods of delivery, as well as an ability to lead others in a challenging environment.
