As part of our ongoing investment in clinical services we are strengthening our administration support for our Consultants and their wider medical teams. We are looking for someone who can provide a high quality, effective administration service in our inpatient service.
This role will be varied, busy and exciting and key to supporting our medical teams in delivering on their duties. You can expect a thorough induction and ongoing support to develop your career with NSFT.

Main duties of the job
As Medial Administrator you will be responsible for providing administration support to named medical colleagues like:
- Diary management; including booking clinics/ appointments and planning meetings
- Drafting correspondence and updating records: typing all letters, memorandums, summaries and reports paying particular attention to accuracy and presentation, completing within given deadlines,
- To provide a confidential and efficient administrative service to teams.
- Maintaining an efficient process of entering correspondence on to the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system, ensuring patient information is managed, retained and stored in line with Trust policy.
- Raise agendas, take and process minutes for medical team as required.
- Provide cover to other medical administrative staff during holidays and sickness.
You will need to be able to prioritise your workload and to deal with confidential and sensitive issues in a professional manner with tact and diplomacy.
We are looking for individuals with knowledge of IT systems and data management including MS Office. You will have experience of administrative support, reports and presentations, problem solving skills,
