Dementia Intensive Support Team - Administrator
We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Administrator to join the team on a part time basis. Candidates will need to demonstrate exceptionalinterpersonal and customer service skills with an excellent telephone manner, and the ability to deal with calls from referrers or carers thatsometimes can be challenging and distressing, ensuring confidentiality is always adhered to.This post requires a confident individual who can support a busy service and team environment. You will be required to respond to changingpriorities and deliver accurate work within tight deadlines.You should have relevant and recent administration experience, the ability to work on your own as well as alongside the Senior TeamAdministratorIt is expected as part of the role that you have the ability to increase your hours to support the service when the other Team administrator is onleave
Main duties of the job
- Managing the team's main phone line into the service
- Taking details and processing of referrals to the team
- Taking minutes at team meetings
- Supporting the team to prevent breaches and to maintain data quality
- Monitoring and managing lone working procedures for the team
- Providing data as requested by the team leader/wider organisation
- Providing cover for the other team administrator when they are on annual leave and/or have a period of sickness
- Supporting the team with data input and ensuring records are accurate and up to date
- Attending meetings appropriate to the role

- NVQ 3 Business Administration or equivalent or working towards.
Experience

- Understanding and experience in a full range of secretarial procedures and systems gained through practice at intermediate level
- Ability to work with senior members of staff across a large organisation.
