Job summary

This is an innovative service offering assessment and treatment of young people under the age of 14with a variety of complex mental health needs.We are looking for psychology graduates with previousAssistant Psychologist or relevant clinicalexperiencewho are interested in working with young people with emotional and mental health difficulties, who can be compassionate, thoughtful and have the ability to apply psychological theory to their work.

Weekly supervision for this post will be provided by a clinical psychologist within the team.We have good links with the University of East Anglia (UEA) Clinical Psychology DoctorateProgrammewith previous post holders having been accepted onto the clinical doctorate and regularly have Trainee Clinical Psychologists on placement.

Main duties of the job

Within this role the post holder will have the opportunity to help assess, formulate and deliver a range of psychological interventions to young people and families acrossthe CAMHS age range, as well as opportunities for delivering bothgroup andfamily interventions. Working as part of the MDT thisrole will involve working with staff to offerpsychologically informed care, develop psychological formulationsas well as supporting the wider team with undertaking routine outcome measures and reporting on these outcomes.

Further responsibilities of this post will be conducting reviews alongside Clinical Psychologists within the team, supporting the wider psychological therapies team and supporting with monitoring of clients on waiting lists.There will also be the opportunity to be involved in service evaluation.
