Job summary

This role involves working in a new and developing psychology interface team. This friendly Psychology team provides a broad range of psychological services including therapy, supervision, training and consultation.

The team works closely with Primary Care Networks and GP's, and provides psychological therapies to service users that fall in the gap between NHS Talking Therapies and secondary care mental health services.

This is an exciting and developing offer,and you will work under the supervision of experienced colleagues.

This post provides a real opportunity to be involved in service delivery that puts the people who use our services at the very heart of them.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the job are to provide assessment, formulation and psychological intervention to service users and carers within the psychology interface team, as well as clinical supervision.You will provide evidence-based interventions for individuals and groups.

You will support colleagues in the Primary Care Network and G.P's with consultation and training as necessary. There may also be opportunities to take part in quality improvement projects as part of a supportive and dynamic psychology team.
