Job summary

The role of Band 3 Clinical Support Worker is to undertake a range of clinical activities within the Learning Disability CAMHS Service which offers treatment intervention for young people up to the age of 18 who have moderate to severe learning disabilities with co-morbid mental health behavioural or neurodevelopmental differences.

Main duties of the job

Clinical Support Workers undertake a range of activities to support the work of the team. This includes supporting the implementation of positive behavioural support plans. Undertaking home visits and supporting young people and their families in outpatient appointments.

within this role clinicians work with minimal supervision, but under the direction of the senior clinicians including nurses Psychologists and medical team.
