Job summary
Central CAMHS U14's provides mental health treatment to children aged up to 14 years and are looking to recruit a reliable, conscientious, organised, and confident individual to work as part of the Business Support team. This role will require previous line management / supervisory experience and a good knowledge of clinical processes. This is a full-time post (37.5 hrs per week, Monday to Friday) office based at Mary Chapman House to fully support the team with all aspects of administration and call handling. Office hours are 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. The admin team is led and supported by a Business Support Manager, but this role will require day to day supervisory/line management of the clinical admin team.

Main duties of the job
The role is to provide full clinical administrative support to the Central Under 14's clinical team and Team Manager including and not exclusive to, the:
Processing of incoming referrals and associated tasks
Typing of correspondence, minutes and reports
Maintaining and uploading of up-to-date information on patient clinical system (Lorenzo)
Dealing with telephone queries and call handling etc.
There will be an expectation of cross cover with other Business Support colleagues within the team for covering of sickness and annual leave (including Reception).
You must possess excellent time management skills, a positive approach and be able to work under pressure. The successful candidate will need to have the ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information which may include telephone calls from individuals who may sometimes be distressed or upset.
Whilst the work can be challenging, this is an excellent opportunity for the ideal candidate to gain experience within the NHS.
