We are seeking a dedicated Community Team Manager (CTM) to join our Intensive Older Persons Service (IOPS) on a 6-month secondment. In this role, you will be responsible for the operational management and clinical/managerial supervision of our professional staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and responsive services to our service users, their families, and carers.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Suitably qualified/registered Nurse, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist.
- Demonstrated knowledge of mental health through substantial clinical and leadership experience, particularly within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proven experience in leading service development and assessing risk.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Main duties of the job
- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IOPS team, ensuring effective and efficient use of resources to meet the needs of service users and carers.
- Clinical/Managerial Supervision: Provide supervision to professional staff in line with trust values, ensuring compliance with Statutory and Regulatory requirements and Trust Policies.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure a high standard of care is maintained by adhering to standard operating procedures, protocols, and pathways.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate work within the team to optimize resource utilization and service delivery.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor the team's performance and contribution to the Trust's overall objectives.
- Professional Governance: Provide strong leadership and governance within your area of responsibility, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
