This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the dynamic and creative Suffolk Learning Disability & Autism (LD & A) Specialist Service . Admin is a most valued part of the service and integral to a wider group of warm and welcoming 'family' of staff and managers who have been developing the service over the past 2 years and were pleased to recently receive a rating of GOOD by the CQC. The service covers the whole of Suffolk with 3 main community bases in Ipswich, Stowmarket and Bury St Edmunds.

Main duties of the job

The role is to provide full administrative support to the Learning Disability Liaison Team and the Team Leader at the LD West Team Ipswich Office including:

  • processing incoming referrals,
  • typing correspondence and reports,
  • preparing agendas and taking minutes at team meetings,
  • maintaining and uploading up to date information to the Trust database (full training will be given)
  • dealing with telephone queries etc.

Whilst the work can be challenging, this is an excellent opportunity for the ideal candidate to gain experience within the NHS
