Job summary

The Marketing Assistant is a key member of the Marketing Team, supporting the delivery of the Service's marketing strategy.

The post holder will assist with promotional activities, Social media, market research, production of service material and distribution of this, stakeholder communications and work across all teams to deliver the strategy objectives.

Main duties of the job

You will be required to assist in developing, promoting and improving the Wellbeing Service under the direction of the Marketing Lead.

You must have excellent administrative skills and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. You must show previous experience of use of social media and have an excellent attention to detail. You must also have a high degree of initiative and be able to promote ideas for continuous improvement.

Located in Hellesdon Hospital, Norwich (also working from home) The hours of work will be by 9am to 5pm.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Wellbeing blog: Content writing, planning and production of blogs.

Social media: Using the social media platform Buffer and design site Canva Schedule our events and workshops, national campaigns and research and share relevant media stories.

Social media advertising: Creating advertising and placing adverts/sponsored advertising on Facebook and Instagram.

Marketing material production, updates, dispatch and print runs: Liaise with external designers for new material to be commissioned. Managing stock takes and forecasting stock requirements. Placing orders on Oracle, ensuring appropriate delivery and keeping finance records up to date. Liaising with key stakeholders regarding marketing material and replenishing this as required.

Workshops: Promotion, taking enquires, following up and collecting workshop evaluation/data to record and analyse.

Analyse statistics from google analytics and social media to produce detailed reports which guide future marketing decisions.

Staff Newsletter: Collate information and create content to produce staff newsletter.

Wellbeing Service Communications: Produce as required to key external stakeholders.

Events: Liaise with all teams to plan events, ensuring all marketing equipment and information is provided.

Translations: Order and provide all InDesign files to translation services for all translation requests. Ensuring all files are updated with document control.

Feedback/Case Studies: Collating service user feedback for our website, marketing material, press releases and Wellbeing blogs.

Enter and retrieve data: on systems to support data quality and business performance.

Meetings: Attend internal and external meetings as required and appropriate to the role.

Proof Reading: Being able to concentrate for long periods of time to proofread large documents and communications.

Prioritising Workload: The post holder will need to effectively prioritise workloads, working to tight deadlines with shifting expectations.

Autonomous Working: the post holder must be able to use initiative and respond to changing environments with little supervision.
