Job summary

We are looking for a dynamic professional who lives and breathes benefit realisation, from conception to evidencing impact and can deliver high quality, mature professional input.

We're flexible on base across Norfolk and Suffolk, and can support both hybrid and flexible working.

We want your passion, tenacity, energy and drive to establish the framework for benefits management. You will develop best practice building blocks to enable better portfolio decisions making and drive optimal delivery, supporting better impact measurement. Being confident working in the change environment is a must, as is being comfortable working through uncertainty, having strong personal resilience and a steely focus on improving our impact for those that we serve.

You will lead benefit activities across the whole lifecycle of our change portfolio, from identification to realisation. We need your analytical mind and methodical approach, alongside strong interpersonal skills to coach and work alongside colleagues to support them to articulate, monitor and demonstrate benefit delivery, enabling improved user and patient outcomes through better organisational efficiency and effectiveness. You will have a relevant experience in the field and have, or be training for, an equivalent benefit realisation qualification such as BCS or APMG accreditation.

Main duties of the job

The Trust has an ambitious and wide-ranging agenda for change and improvement over the coming years. This is a complex portfolio of work, rich with interdependencies and requiring extensive collaboration across the organisation and with system partners.

We are therefore enhancing our existing team of professionals with additional delivery capacity. This will support consistent application of change delivery methods, strategic coherence of the portfolio and a renewed focus on benefits realisation across the portfolio.

As Benefits Realisation Lead, you will be a leader within Strategic Development and Partnerships directorate, with direct responsibility for developing the Trust's approach to benefits definition and realisation across the portfolio of change and improvement programmes and projects.

This is a key role requiring excellent financial, performance and data skills to support the development of robust cases for change and business cases for these programmes and projects and a relentless pursuit of the benefits as defined and agreed in the business cases and across initiatives throughout the project lifecycle and beyond.
