Job summary

Medical Staffing Assistant - 37.5 hours - Band 3, Permanent.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and dynamic individual to join our Medical Staffing team. The successful candidate will have the chance to make a real difference by providing a comprehensive administrative support to the Medical Staffing Function. As a Medical Staffing assistant you will predominantly be providing administration support to the Medical Staffing Rota Coordinators, Medical Staffing Team Leaders and Medical Staffing Manager.

This is a busy role, and would suit someone ideally with experience of working in a busy office environment, NHS or Health Care experience is desirable.

The post holder should demonstrate a willingness to help others and should prioritise work to meet conflicting deadlines and ensure the smooth management of Doctors both before and during their appointments.

Main duties of the job

  • To maintain electronic/web based systems.
  • To produce Reports by extracting data from electronic/web based systems.
  • To input data into electronic systems, E.g.: Microsoft office packages.
  • To check and electronically file documents.
  • To cross-reference timesheet claims against individual rosters, ensuring payments made reflect the working hours undertaken by the Medical and Dental team.
  • To compile meeting agendas, generate minutes and create/maintain action logs.
