Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care Foundation Trust and Stockport Foundation Trust are seeking a passionate Chief AHP to join our team and help shape the future of AHP services within our Trusts. The post holder will work across both organisations and report to the Joint Chief Nurse and be a key member of the Corporate Nursing, Allied Health Professions and Quality Team.

As Chief Allied Health professional, the post holder will provide expert professional leadership and governance for the Trusts Allied Health Professions. The post holder will have a real opportunity to influence the direction of care delivery in the organisation in line with the 10 year plan.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will contribute to the strategic development of AHP's, Advanced Clinical Practice, clinical governance and risk, supporting the Joint Chief Nurse in providing leadership to the AHP workforce for the delivery of the professional agendas across the Trusts.

The post holder will support the development, implementation and maintenance of Trust wide AHP policy and best practice. The post holder will lead the development and implementation of systems and processes that place patient quality, experience and safety initiatives at the core of Trusts' practice and business.

They will promote a culture of learning and openness and ensure clinical staff have the knowledge, capability, systems and support to embed lessons learned in practice.

As Chief AHP you will report to the Joint Chief Nurse for Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care Foundation Trust and Stockport Foundation Trust and take on a pivotal role in developing our AHPs across both organisations.
