Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust are in the position to offer an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Senior Rotational Physiotherapist.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person who can assess and treat patients autonomously, working effectively and collaboratively as part of a multi - disciplinary team in both primary and secondary care settings.
The successful candidate will be committed to providing high quality acute respiratory care, working on the acute medical unit and respiratory wards at Tameside General Hospital, as well as participating on the respiratory on-call rota.
The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work as part of an MDT which delivers high quality rehabilitation for patients with a wide range of respiratory and cardiac conditions within the Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation services based at Ashton Primary Care Centre.
You will have extensive experience of working in health care settings, rehabilitating adults suffering from a variety of health conditions, and be able to work autonomously, professionally and be legally accountable for all aspects of your work.
You will also play an active part in service development, clinical audit and adherence to national quality standards and guidelines.

Main duties of the job
To provide a high standard physiotherapy service to patients in the specialist areas of respiratory medicine, acute respiratory care, ITU and surgery.
Be an autonomous practitioner being professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of their professional and clinical work.
Participate in the Respiratory Emergency On-call Rota.
Assessing, diagnosing, planning and delivering treatment and/or management programmes to patients in their care.
