Clinical Support Worker - 30 hours

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionateClinical Support Worker to join our dedicated Pelvic Health Service team.

In this community-based role, you will support the delivery of high-quality care to patients experiencing continence and pelvic health issues. Based primarily at Hyde Union Street, with additional work across local clinics and patient homes, you will work closely with our experienced nursing and physiotherapy staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to enquiries from patients and multidisciplinary team (MDT) members

  • Monitor patients on treatment plans and provide ongoing support

  • Assist qualified staff during and after group sessions, including administrative duties

  • Carry out bladder scans for care home residents

  • Deliver practical training and guidance on conservative continence management

  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals via phone, email, and face-to-face

Main duties of the job

As a key member of the Pelvic Health service, you will support both nursing and physiotherapy specialists in delivering and monitoring treatment plans. Your responsibilities will include responding to patient and multidisciplinary team (MDT) enquiries, on treatment plans, completing administrative tasks for qualified staff during and following group sessions, along with completing bladder scans on residents in care homes. This is a community-based post requiring attendance at multiple trust community sites, and some domicilary visits.

You will engage with patients and healthcare professionals through face-to-face interactions, electronic communications, and telephone calls. A key part of your role will be to provide practical advice and training to patients on conservative continence management. A commitment to personal development and participation in relevant training is essential.
