Job summary
ICT Network Engineer - 37.5 hours Band 5 - Permanent
The post-holder will support the implementation and delivery of the IT network services across the entire Tameside and Glossop Health and Social Care Integrated Care Organisation (ICO) during core hours of 07:30 a.m. to 18:00. This will include travelling to remote sites using your own car.
To provide specialist network support within the ICT Services department for the Trust's key IT infrastructure.
Responsible for delivering, supporting and administrating corporate data and voice network systems for over 5500 users spread over several sites within the locality.
Main duties of the job
Provide effective and efficient IT network management and technical advice on Cisco networking technologies, infrastructures and other integrated systems within IT services to the ICO.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and communication related issues quickly to minimise network unavailability.
Provide support, monitor, and maintain all network infrastructures and develop network services per the ICO's business strategies.
To deputise for the IT Technical Services Manager and cover the Server Specialists as required.
