Sister/ODP Scrub Practitioner

Band 6 - 37.5 hours per week

We are looking to recruit a sister/charge nurse/ODP to support our patients, and our staff and ensure we give an excellent service that values everybody, every time, all the time.

Main duties of the job

This role will hold key responsibility for Scrub and will provide effective leadership for designated areas of responsibility and be responsible to the Band 7 Team Leader accountable for these areas.

  • To utilise and further enhance existing skills that enable the post holder to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care within sphere of responsibility.
  • To ensure all patients receive high quality patient centred care.
  • Demonstrate an extensive knowledge base of theatre practice in relation to Scrub.
  • To assist in the management and organisation of work in the clinical area.
  • To always, act in a manner consistent with the NMC/HCPC Code of Professional Conduct carrying out his/her duties in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
