Job summary

The Facilities Management department are looking for an administrator to join their dynamic team.

This role is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic team player who has a track record of delivering excellent customer service and has an FM background.

We are looking for applicants who effectively communicate; face to face, by phone and in writing with a wide range of people including staff and external stakeholders such as partner organisations and sub-contractors.Applicants will need to demonstrate initiative, be able to prioritise their own workload and be strong administrators using multiple software applications and systems such as full MS office packages, SharePoint, Net2, Oracle, and Concerto.

Due to an uplift in the national living wage from 1st April 2025 the Trust have taken the decision to temporarily increase the rates of pay for the banding associated to this role. This will be reviewed once we receive notification of the annual pay uplift review from NHS Employers for 2025/26.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will deliver a high quality, professional administrative service to the team, visitors, colleagues and others alongside delivering effective admin support to the Regional FM Team. Additionally, the post holder will provide resilience to reception.

The role has flexibility to be based at any corporate site in the North West. The post holder may occasionally be required to travel to other sites within the trust, to provide resilience to the team when needed.Please note that you may be required to travel for interview.

About us

North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust provides 24 hour, 365 days a year accident and emergency services to those in need of emergency medical treatment and transport.

Our highly skilled staff provide life-saving care to patients in the community and take people to hospital or a place of care if needed.We also provide non-emergency patient transport services for those patients who require non-emergency transport to and from hospital and who are unable to travel unaided because of their medical condition or clinical need.

Alongside the other emergency services, we also work to ensure the safety of the public and treatment of patients in the event of a major incident.

We also deliver the NHS 111 service in the North West. NHS 111 replaced NHS Direct in 2013. This service was introduced to make it easier for people to access local NHS healthcare services in England. It provides non-emergency medical help fast, and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
