As the first Integrated Governance Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to shape and influence the governance framework, making a lasting impact on the Trust's operations and services. This leadership role is critical in driving continuous improvements in governance across the Trust. You will work closely with the Head of Integrated Governance, Risk and Assurance to ensure corporate, clinical, quality, workforce, educational, operational performance, and information governance processes are embedded and integrated throughout the organisation.

Main duties of the job
The Integrated Governance Manager will provide specialist and professional advice to the Trust on all matters relating to integrated governance. The Integrated Governance Manager is a leadership role, working closely with the Head of Integrated Governance, Risk and Assurance.
The Integrated Governance Manager will play a critical role in identifying and leading continuous improvements in all governance aspects across the Trust. The post holder will take a lead role in ensuring corporate, clinical, quality, workforce and educational, operational performance, information governance processes are embedded and integrated throughout the organisation through the provision of oversight, advice and guidance in this area.
The post holder will support the Head of Integrated Governance, Risk and Assurance with the delivery of the Trust's Integrated Governance, Risk and Assurance Strategy. All leadership roles at NWAS at every level are required to promote and role model our Be Think Do Philosophy.

About us
North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust provides 24 hour, 365 days a year accident and emergency services to those in need of emergency medical treatment and transport.
Our highly skilled staff provide life-saving care to patients in the community and take people to hospital or a place of care if needed.We also provide non-emergency patient transport services for those patients who require non-emergency transport to and from hospital and who are unable to travel unaided because of their medical condition or clinical need.
Alongside the other emergency services, we also work to ensure the safety of the public and treatment of patients in the event of a major incident.
We also deliver the NHS 111 service in the North West. NHS 111 replaced NHS Direct in 2013. This service was introduced to make it easier for people to access local NHS healthcare services in England. It provides non-emergency medical help fast, and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
