We currently have a vacancy within the Data Services team in the for a motivated, enthusiastic and innovative person for the role of a Data Warehouse Developer. The successful post holder will support the Senior Data Engineers in the management and development of new and existing data warehouse, reporting, data processes, system administration and dashboards.

This post requires strong problem solving and analysis skills as well as presentation and report building skills.

The post holder will be required to have database and data warehouse development experience with ETL/ELT using SQL, stored procedures and data integration tools. BI reporting experience preferable using SSRS and Power BI, DAX to support the data warehouse and business intelligence and analyst team.

Main duties of the job

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to join an experienced and dynamic team where you will be encouraged to demonstrate your skills and talent.

Knowledge and working in Agile development environments and a willing to research, learn new and exciting technologies will be advantageous.

The post will be based primarily in Parkway (Manchester) and will have the ability to work from home too. The post holder may also be required to travel between all NWAS.

About us

North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust provides 24 hour, 365 days a year accident and emergency services to those in need of emergency medical treatment and transport.

Our highly skilled staff provide life-saving care to patients in the community and take people to hospital or a place of care if needed.We also provide non-emergency patient transport services for those patients who require non-emergency transport to and from hospital and who are unable to travel unaided because of their medical condition or clinical need.

Alongside the other emergency services, we also work to ensure the safety of the public and treatment of patients in the event of a major incident.

We also deliver the NHS 111 service in the North West. NHS 111 replaced NHS Direct in 2013. This service was introduced to make it easier for people to access local NHS healthcare services in England. It provides non-emergency medical help fast, and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
