Job summary
Full time 37.5 hours per week.
Working on SDEC rotating between medical and surgical triage areas, also with the opportunity to experience clinics such as Urology, Respiratory, ENT and orthopaedic specialities
Able to do initial assessment on patients arriving from GP, A+E or home address, including blood pressure, venepuncture, cannulation and ecg performing
Help to develop the unit and increase the throughput of patients
Ensure cleanliness of the unit according to H+S policies
Main duties of the job
To assist the clinical team to provide a standard of patient care which is inaccordance with agreed nursing practice and Trust Policy, through the provision of basic nursing care and housekeeping duties.
To rotate through all specialities to meet service needs.
