This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Clinical Fellow to join our General Surgery Team here at Bolton Hospital.

Main duties of the job
The post is based at the Bolton Foundation Trust. This is not a recognised training post; however, the successful candidate will be required to attend the same teaching programme as the core general surgical trainees. This teaching will be based around the appropriate general surgery curriculum. The post will involve on call general surgery commitment and a significant amount of elective general surgery within the General and Vascular Surgery, including hernia surgery (open and laparoscopic), excision of lumps and bumps and ambulatory venous surgery. This job is ideal for a trainee seeking more experience in general surgery.

Basic salary offered for this role is fixed at £43,923 and will not be uplifted beyond that salary point. Where the role requires out of hours working, evening, weekend and on call enhancements will be added according to a work schedule. It is Trust practice that we offer a set salary for this role and variations will not be considered.
