Here at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust our non-clinical and clinical teams work hand-in-hand to ensure the best care for the people of Bolton. This includes our dedicated in-house IT team, and we have an opportunity for someone, with the right technical skills, and a real passion for innovation and brilliant customer service, to join that team as a Senior Technical Team Lead.
We are seeking a highly skilled 3rd line senior technical engineer with in depth understanding of Enterprise IT Systems and Hardware as well as the systems used within the NHS and healthcare. As a Senior Technical Team Lead you will be responsible for the design process, create the high-level architecture. This involves creating designs from conceptual, logical, and physical plans, including a high degree of information modelling.

Main duties of the job
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of the trust IT digital infrastructure. Responsible for mentoring and steering the senior technical team. You will also take the lead on technical projects, using your technical expertise to ensure successful delivery.
To ensure that the management; configuration; maintenance and implementation of enhancements to the current digital infrastructure across Bolton NHS Foundation Trust are completed in line with agreed procedures.
