We are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and reliable individual with experience and knowledge in skin cancer to join our team. The post holder will ensure that the patient has a supported journey by acting as their key worker and undertaking holistic needs assessments, at key points.
Main duties of the job
The Skin Cancer Associate Clinical Nurse Specialist will give support and advice to individuals diagnosed with Skin cancer providing holistic care and ensuring a seamless cancer journey and an excellent patient experience.
To work clinically, delivering and maintaining high standards of care and contributing to the multi-disciplinary team.
To support and contribute to the development and promotion of the nursing service ensuring the delivery of high quality, cost effective care.
Educate staff in understanding the care requirements of patients undergoing investigations and treatments and ensure that the physical and psychological needs of patients and their families are met.

You will work very closely with the Skin Cancer Clinical Lead and other members of the team within the dermatology department.
