Main duties of the job
You will join a warm, supportive team of midwives who truly care about women's experience of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood. We value your experience working with us and acknowledge that fulfilled midwives put women at the center of their work. We want midwives to be part of the women's family to develop mutually respective and satisfying relationships.
What we are currently doing:
- Offering 4 choices of birth environment
- Developing a continuity of carer model
- Developing a caseloading team
- Providing high quality care to high risk women
- Working towards offering a transitional care service
- Developing our perinatal mental health service to offer a more holistic approach to women with mental health needs.
You will have:-
- Confidence in your midwifery skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A zest for holistic care
- Passion for physiological birth
- Be prepared to support women through their journey whatever it becomes.
