Job summary

There is an exciting opportunity for a part time Ward Clerk to work on Ward 20 at Fairfield General Hospital.

Our vision is to deliver care of the highest quality whilst shaping and developing our highly motivated workforce. We are keen to employ a ward clerk with experience, however, we are happy to train someone with an interest in this discipline.

Main duties of the job

  • To correctly undertake tasks that have been delegated.
  • To record information accurately and pass it to the relevant people in the team in a timely manner.
  • To respect the individual's privacy, dignity and beliefs
  • Establish and maintain communication with people on routine and operational matters.
  • Contribute to own personal development.
  • Assist in maintaining own and others' health, safety and security
