Salford Royal is the Greater Manchester Comprehensive Stroke Centre and is the busiest stroke centre in the UK, with approximately 5000 stroke pathway presentations per annum. The successful post holder will contribute to the weekend working rota and must be willing to adopt a flexible working pattern.

The role will include access to, and training in FEES and Videofluoroscopy.

There will be opportunities to be involved in and/or lead service development, quality improvement projects and/or research projects in these specialist clinical areas. This can be supported by the NCA's dedicated Quality Improvement Team and Clinical Research Centre.

The NCA have a designated team delivering leadership development training and all clinicians are encouraged to incorporate this into their learning and development.
