Main duties of the job

Exciting Opportunity to Lead in Children's Public Health

Join our Universal Team as a key leader in delivering the Healthy Child Programme 5-19. Your role will be vital in coordinating and implementing impactful public health interventions across designated schools, under the guidance of the Team Leader.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the delivery of health screenings, surveillance, and assessments
  • Monitor immunisation status to ensure children are protected
  • Support the health and wellbeing of vulnerable children and young people within your caseload
  • Collaborate with schools and community partners to promote healthy development

As part of the Integrated Children & Families Service across Oldham, you'll work from a central administrative base, with opportunities to deliver services from various locations based on the needs of the community and service.
