Our state-of-the-art unit offers comprehensive care for sick new-borns, featuring:
- 9 Intensive Care Cots
- 9 High Dependency Cots
- 19 Special Care Cots
- 4 Transitional Care Cots

Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference during one of life's most challenging moments? We are seeking a dedicated Post Holder to lead and support our neonatal and multidisciplinary teams in providing compassionate, evidence-based care for families experiencing loss.
In this vital role, you'll:
- Guide and support families through confidential, memory-making experiences during grief and bereavement
- Act as a compassionate role model, educator, and mentor for staff and students, fostering a culture of best practice
- Promote a supportive environment where families feel cared for and remembered with dignity
- Utilise your expertise to influence and improve care standards, ensuring that every family receives the highest quality support

- Qualification in Speciality as a Neonatal Nurse
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
- Ability to travel to different geographical locations across the Trust footprint in line with service needs
Desirable
- Appropriate Bereavement and Palliative Care Courses
- Counselling Qualification
- Recognised Teaching Qualification
- Multilingual
- Full UK driving license with willingness to use own car for work purposes

- Experience of providing the full sphere of neonatal care
- Knowledge of the care and management of Children/young people requiring palliative care
- Understand local and national neonatal agendas associated with National Bereavement Pathways
