Main duties of the job
Join Our Team as a Skilled Dental Nurse
We're looking for a confident, enthusiastic Dental Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care across Oral & Maxillofacial and Orthodontic specialties. You'll support clinical procedures, assist with radiographs using CRIS digital systems, and uphold infection control standards.
Your role includes providing pre- and post-operative instructions, supporting specialist procedures like IV sedation, and maintaining compliance with COSHH, IRR, and IRMER 2019. You'll accurately record patient data, participate in quality assurance, and mentor learners such as dental students and trainee nurses.
We value continuous professional development--develop your skills while adhering to GDC standards. You'll establish effective communication with patients, overcoming barriers like language or cultural differences, and work flexibly to maintain an efficient service. Adaptability is key--you may be required to work in different clinical environments on short notice and flexible hours.
