Job summary

The HMR Intermediate Tier Service is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic Band 6 Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to work within a multi-disciplinary team. The teams provide patient focused assessment and treatment for people within the Home in a Day Service

The Therapist will be expected to carry a case load within the Home in a Day Service delivering assessments and treatments both in hospital and at Home. This service was graded as 'outstanding' from the CQC.

Main duties of the job

You will be required to hold a UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle for work purposes.

You will need to be flexible, with good communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.The team strives to ensure we provide an efficient and quality service to our patients with a focus on team working. You will be self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team. The team is focused to continuous improvement and service development and the successful applicant would be keen to contribute to this process.

Flexible working required forweekend, bank holiday and evenings and working acrossHMR Intermediate tier serviceswill be required.

  • To have responsibility for own caseload and deliver individualised assessments and interventions for patients with complex and changing needs
  • To provide specialist support and education to therapists and wider teams.
  • To provide line management for junior members of the therapy team.
