Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
- Play an active role in the effective management and smooth running of the department
- Step in as Deputy for the team leader when required, ensuring seamless leadership coverage
- Provide professional guidance and support within the critical care area, fostering high standards of patient care
- Champion practice development and educational initiatives, enhancing departmental knowledge and skills
- Uphold the highest professional standards by acting in accordance with the NMC/HCP Professional Code of Conduct
- Ensure all information relating to patients and staff is handled responsibly, maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and security in line with the Data Protection Act (1998) and our Security and Confidentiality Policy
- Contribute to the effective management of departmental budgets, supporting financial sustainability and resource allocation
