Job summary
Working within Dermatology Services you will provide a comprehensive transcriptionist / secretarial and administrative service to the clinical team. You will be an important part of the team, working in a rewarding environment.

Main duties of the job
- You must possess good communication skills; have the ability to effectively work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative, proven organisational skills and a strong commitment to personal and professional development. The department is extremely busy; you must possess the ability to manage a variety of tasks and prioritize accordingly.
- You must provide a strong commitment to improving patient services and ensuring the department continues to perform well in line with national patient measures. You will be responsible for implementing and managing systems for the office/team workload, ensuring work is completed within strict timescales.Administratively supporting the medical secretaries, medical team & consultants, you will need excellent Audio-Typing experience, exercise your judgement and initiative based on experience and knowledge of arising problems and taking appropriate action to resolve situations.
