An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Booking & Scheduling Assistant to join us as a Band 2 Booking & Scheduling Assistant at Salford Royal Hospital / Turnpike House / St James House.With demand on our services at an all time high the role our department provides has never been more critical.
Main duties of the job
As a Booking Clerk your main duties will cover:Receiving and processing patient referralsBooking and changing appointments for patients either via a phone call, a text message, or an emailAnswering and signposting general enquiries from patients calling our appointments lineTo do this we need you to:Be confident using a computer and Microsoft OfficeHave an excellent telephone mannerBe able to communicate effectivelyStrive to give our patients an excellent customer serviceBe enthusiastic, confident, and committedWe will give you:The chance to make a difference to people in our local communitiesA mix of both office and home on a rota basis once training is completeA range of Monday to Friday daytime shiftsCareer development opportunities
