Job summary
As we continue to expand and develop as a leading Trauma Centre, we are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Emergency Nurse who can rise to the challenges of this fast-paced setting, providing both clinical and managerial leadership. You will lead a designated clinical area; majors, minors and resus as well as taking on aspects of managerial responsibility.
Main duties of the job
You will need to demonstrate drive, commitment and a strong sense of leadership and deliver excellent patient centred care.
You will be able to demonstrate a proven clinical ability in A&E, with substantial experience at Band 5 or above; be able to manage all aspects of the ED on a daily basis, including a real understanding of flow and capacity; and the leadership ability to bring the team with them in achieving Trust goals.
If you are a knowledgeable and skilled practitioner currently working in the field of emergency care, with significant experience in the ED as a Band 5, this could be the role for you.
Ideally you will have the following qualifications; a first level degree, a mentorship qualification and TNCC or ATNC provider status. You will be expected to evidence your achievements, and plans to develop areas of your practice, through a professional portfolio that will be scrutinised as part of the selection process.
