Job summary

A permanent vacancy has arisen for a Review Officer, to be based at Ramsgate House Adult Community Mental Health Team.

We are looking for an experienced mental health professional who has high professional standards and the ability to work well with colleagues in a multi disciplinary setting.

A professional qualification and registration is required.

The post is permanent, Monday to Friday.

This position is open to qualified social workers, you will be supported by our CMHT team to develop your skills and experience within the field of mental health review and commissioning.

You will be offered regular line management and clinical supervision along with peer supervision for the review officer role from the senior practitioner

Staff well being is important at Ramsgate House and we offer regular peer support groups, reflective practice groups, mindfulness and other team activities.

Main duties of the job

Supporting care coordinators with commissioning and review process

Working in line with the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act (2005) and Mental Health Act (1983).

Assessment, support planning, reviews and within the meaning of the Care Act 2014. Supporting reviews of those care packages for service users without a care coordinator

Multidisciplinary working.

Demonstrating anti discriminatory practice and promoting the rights of vulnerable adults.

Demonstrating excellent organisation and communication skills.

Demonstrating an ability to collate information and write reports
