Main duties of the job
Are you ready to make a real impact in the lives of patients who depend on home oxygen therapy? Join our dedicated team as a Home Oxygen Therapy Nurse and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care.
What You'll Do:

Comprehensive Patient Care: Assess new and follow-up patients in our nurse-led Oxygen clinics and in the comfort of their own homes, adhering to the latest National British Thoracic Society (BTS) guidelines for home oxygen therapy (2015). Your expertise will help patients breathe easier and enjoy a better quality of life

Holistic Assessments: Ensure a seamless and timely evaluation of patients referred to our service. Your commitment to holistic care will align with departmental targets, making a significant difference in our patients' health journeys

Expert Analysis: Perform capillary blood gas analyses both in clinic settings and at patients' homes. You'll have the opportunity to interpret results skillfully, enabling you to initiate, titrate, or discontinue home oxygen therapy as needed
