Main duties of the job
Participate in the rotational scheme working in a range of hospital and community settings across the health and social care community, working as an autonomous practitioner within your scope of practice and in accordance with your job plan.Be responsible for your continuing professional development, actively participating in supervision, peer support and training and development programmes.Manage a caseload including prioritisation and delegation of work to therapy assistants, performing patient assessments and making a clinical judgement of the patient's needs. Develop, implement, evaluate and modify patient treatment programmes ensuring relevant pathways of care are followed in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team with onward referral to other agencies as appropriate. Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records complying with Trust policies and procedures, upholding statutory, Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, and HCPC standards and codes of professional conduct.

- Member of HCPC or working towards registration
- BSc/Diploma/MSc Physiotherapy or final year student working towards qualification
Desirable
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy

- Broad range of experience at undergraduate or postgraduate level across a variety of clinical areas
- Good communication skills
- Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Evidence of CPD and how you use it in practice
- Understanding of professional standards and code of conduct
- Ability to travel to different geographical locations across the Trust footprint in line with service needs.
- Demonstrates an awareness & understanding of supporting equality and valuing diversity within the role
