Join Our Team: IV Care Specialist

We're seeking an experienced nurse to join our team as an IV Care Specialist, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of IV care for our patients. Working closely with our IV Access Nurse Specialist, Infection Control Teams, and senior colleagues, you'll be responsible for monitoring and reviewing IV management practices to guarantee that our patients receive optimal, safe care at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance and support to junior staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in IV care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement best practices in IV management, promoting a culture of excellence and patient safety
  • Monitor and review IV practices, including Antimicrobial Stewardship (ANTT) and documentation, to identify areas for improvement and implement evidence-based solutions
  • Participate in training, competency testing, and supervision to ensure that our team members have the knowledge and skills required to provide exceptional care
  • Influence practice through feedback, education, and collaboration with colleagues to drive positive change
