Job summary
The Admin Assistant will provide general clerical support to the Volunteer Services department, assisting in the smooth running of the recruitment, monitoring and training of volunteers and providing general administrative assistance to the volunteers' team as required.
Our implementation of a volunteer led complementary therapy service to improve our colleagues wellbeing has been a great success for the NCA. Our Complementary Therapy Lead now requires administrative support as part of our volunteer services team. This will include supporting on site at events and every day administration for bookings and diary management.

Main duties of the job
Arranging interview appointments for prospective volunteers and provide information regarding appointments to candidates
Providing administrative assistance to the Volunteer Services Team.
To actively promote the volunteer roles by telephone, face to face and at public events
Supporting the Volunteer Team at recruitment events
To document all correspondence with volunteers within the volunteer management system
Act as a first point of contact for telephone and email enquiries and visitors to the department.
To ensure the smooth running of our in house volunteering programmes by supporting the volunteer coordinators in managing their volunteer rotas.
Provide day to day support to our volunteers and respond to enquiries in a courteous and sympathetic manner.
Support the maintenance of mandatory training records for all volunteers
Communicate with volunteers regarding their mandatory training requirements and provide support and advice on accessing their e-Learning.
General office duties include dealing with post, scanning, filing, registration of volunteers
