This represents a rare leadership opportunity, a role of significant scope and profile and one that has the chance to impact the lives of the hundreds of thousands of people we serve.
We are seeking to appoint an individual with excellent leadership qualities, evidenced by a positive track record of inspiring organisations to excel in service delivery, be that in the health sector or a different environment. The new Chair must be able to engage and work collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external senior stakeholders, play an active role in the success of the Greater Manchester system and at all times living and promoting the values of the Northern Care Alliance NHS FT.

Main duties of the job
As an experienced Chair, or Non-Executive Director, you will understand the challenges of leading a large, complex and regulated person focused organisation. Skilled at working with executive teams, you will also bring strong political acumen and enjoy working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that NCA effectively supports the development of emerging system integration across the wider conurbation, through a partnership model with other health and social care providers.
