Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to come and work within Oldham Royal Hospital.
The role of ICNARC Clerk is integral to the on-going development and maintenance of our healthcare database systems. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and validity of data submissions, with a particular focus on the critical care units. This role requires a proactive and dynamic approach to data analysis and reporting.
Main duties of the job
The post holder is required to ensure the ongoing development of the ICNARC and CCMDS database system, ensuring accuracy and validity of the care organisation data submission.
The post holder will require a proactive and dynamic approach to data analysis and reporting, ensuring key quality indicators on all documentation is accurately recorded and inputted, and where may issues arise, that this is escalated to the lead consultant / nurse / clinical director and/or directorate manager as applicable.
In addition, the post holder will provide assistance to the clinical director and critical care consultants in the co-ordination of the biweekly M&M and MDT meeting; this will include recording actions and outcomes and national data collection, and other data collection identified by the MDT.
